ACBRA is a Non-Profit organization.  Monies made are invested back to the members.

History

The American Computer Barrel Racing Association was established in 1985 to fulfill the need of a system which would enable people to compete in barrel racing against horses of their own skill level. In an effort to achieve fair competition, the ACBRA adopted a computerized category system, ranking horses by lifetime barrel racing earnings. The results were very successful, and the association went from 45 members in 1985 to 268 members in 2002.

American Computer Barrel Racing Associaiton is celebrating over 25 years of competitive Barrel Racing.
